Risk Manager (all genders) - Credit Underwriting Real Estate

Credit Underwriting for Real Estate, embedded into the CRO Division, is responsible for first line risk management for Erste Group Bank AG (Holding) as well as for Erste Bank Österreich (EBOe) clients. The department deals with Real Estate related operative risk management topics covering all asset classes in the residential (residential for sale /for rent) and commercial segments (Office, Retail, Logistics, Hotel) with a focus on AT and the CEE region.

Your Tasks

• Manage a dedicated portfolio of national and international clients
• Assist business in structuring financing transactions
• Analyze Real Estate transactions based on relevant risk parameters
• Take decisions on transactions up to the designated risk management pouvoir
• Provide clear recommendations to decision-makers (for transactions exceeding the designated risk pouvoir level)
• Monitor client development and identify early warning signals

Your Background

• 3+ years of experience in Real Estate financing, either on the risk, sales or restructuring side
• Strong analytical skills to identify transactional issues effectively
• Proficient in financial analysis
• Familiar with lending products and legal foundations
• Fluency in English is a must, German and any additional CEE language is a plus

• The minimum wage for this full-time position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 43.554,-- gross per year. But this is just a formality - we would be happy to talk about your actual salary in person!
